Brake Switch Circuit Input Malfunction Indicates PCM did not receive a brake pedal position (BPP) input. Open or short in BPP circuit Open or short in stoplamp circuits damaged PCM Malfunction in module(s) connected to BPP circuit.

Diagnosis And Repairing P03D2

P03D2 the main thing to check is to verify the operation of the VCT solenoid. You're looking for a sticking or stuck VCt solenoid valve caused by contamination. Refer to vehicle specific repair manual to perform component tests for the VCT unit.

How to fix P03D2 code ?

  • Damaged ECM
  • Damaged camshaft position (CMP) sensor
  • Intake Valve Timing Control Solenoid Valve harness is open or shorted
  • Spark plugs may be faulty
